Review: Emma Chase's "Royally Matched (Royally #2)."

Synopsis:

Some men are born responsible, some men have responsibility thrust upon them. Henry John Edgar Thomas Pembrook, Prince of Wessco, just got the motherlode of all responsibility dumped in his regal lap.

He’s not handling it well.

Hoping to help her grandson to rise to the occasion, Queen Lenora agrees to give him "space"—but while the Queen’s away, the Prince will play. After a chance meeting with an American television producer, Henry finally makes a decision all on his own:

Welcome to Matched: Royal Edition.

A reality TV dating game show featuring twenty of the world's most beautiful blue bloods gathered in the same castle. Only one will win the diamond tiara, only one will capture the handsome prince’s heart.

While Henry revels in the sexy, raunchy antics of the contestants as they fight, literally, for his affection, it’s the quiet, bespectacled girl in the corner—with the voice of an angel and a body that would tempt a saint—who catches his eye.

The more Henry gets to know Sarah Mirabelle Zinnia Von Titebottum, the more enamored he becomes of her simple beauty, her strength, her kind spirit... and her naughty sense of humor.

But Rome wasn’t built in a day—and irresponsible royals aren’t reformed overnight.

As he endeavors to right his wrongs, old words take on whole new meanings for the dashing Prince. Words like, Duty, Honor and most of all—Love.

Review: Jo

I have wanted to read this series as soon as it was released, so when "Royally Matched" was on sale recently, it was an instant one-click. Emma Chase has not once disappointed me with her work. I have swooned over every one of her books that I have read, however when I first started to read this one, I wasn't really sure if it was the book for me. The main reason for this was that I found it very difficult to like the hero of the story, Prince Henry, however I continued, having faith that my opinion would soon change. I had heard so many good things about this series and that gave me a reason to continue and my perseverance paid off because I ended up falling crazy in love with this book and with Prince Henry.

"Anything that came before is nothing. This is all that matters.
This brave, stunning girl in my arms is all I will ever need."

The premise of this book was a romance lovers dream. A playboy prince and a lovely and quiet librarian. As I said, I wasn't immediately a fan of Henry but that soon changed with the development of his character when he met and began a relationship with sweet Sarah. I just loved ever minute of this couple getting to know one another and eventually falling in love. Henry turned out to be a beautiful man who made my heart skip a beat over and over again.

"I want to lock you in a tower, like in one of your books,
so no one can hurt you. And you’ll be safe and happy and mine.”
“Only the villains lock ladies in a tower.”
“Then you make me want to be a villain.”

Emma chase has once again delivered a gorgeous, heart melting story that I was well and truly addicted to. It was a romance that made my heart deliciously happy and full and I never wanted it to end. I wholeheartedly recommend picking up this standalone novel. I can't wait to read the other books in the series very soon.

“You are woven into my soul and you are wrapped around my heart.
And if anything happens to you, both will wither and die and I won’t even care.”

"Royally Matched" gets a big ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ from me.
